If you need to unlock your Samsung phone, you can request your unlock here. You just have to select the Samsung model you want to unlock and follow the indicated steps.
It's important to know that some Samsung phones unlock by code, while others unlock by cable. Both methods are perfectly legal and, except in very rare occasions, work perfectly. When you request your unlock, we will indicate which method is appropriate for unlocking your Samsung.
In this article, we'll tell you the steps to follow for Samsung phones that unlock by code. If you need to know the steps to unlock your Samsung by cable, please check this other article.
That said, let's see what steps to take to unlock your Samsung once you receive your code by email:
- Turn it on with a SIM card that is not from the original carrier. If the card has an active PIN code, enter it.
- The phone indicates "SIM network unlock PIN" or "Network lock". Enter the code we will send you by email and "press Unlock".
In most cases, this is enough to unlock your Samsung.
However, in some cases, the phone may display the message "Unable to unlock network". Don't worry, it has a solution. Just follow these steps:
- Turn it on with a SIM card that is not from the original carrier. If it has a PIN, enter it.
- The phone will indicate "SIM network unlock PIN" or "Network lock". Enter the code 0000 and click "Unlock". It's completely normal for "Unable to unlock network" to appear.
- On the same screen, enter the code we sent you by email and click "Unlock" again.
- If you purchased your Samsung in another country and need the Regional Unlock Code, enter the code we will send you by email when prompted by the device for the unlock code.
Your AT&T Samsung will be permanently unlocked.
